Celebrating 40 Years of Life

A miracle...as I have had to continually overcome so many struggles and challenges since my childhood...some I felt, at times, were insurmountable. In my early 20's, I allowed myself to waste away to a dangerously low 84 lbs. I always felt I needed to be perfect for not just myself but everyone else, too. I want to thank, from the bottom of my heart, those special angels in my life who never stopped loving and supporting me, flaws and all, throughout the years. I appreciate every hug, every encouraging word, and every bit of warm sunshine that helped lift my sensitive soul out of some of the deepest, darkest, blackest chasms into which a person could ever plunge. The road ahead is still going to be a hard one for me, but at least now I can see a little bit of light at the end of a very long, dark tunnel. Believe me, it is the sweetest sight.
